Online LaTeX table colorizer
How many times have you seen a table in a scientific paper that has so many numbers it’s impossible to tell at a glance which method is best?
I usually write python code to add “heatmap”-style colorizing commands but this time I decided to use ChatGPT to write some javascript code hosted on my website so that I don’t have to re-write the python code every time.

This is a tool to automatically color table cells according to their values. For example, a column with the values [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] configured with “lower is better” would color 1 the most green, 5 white, and the values in between a gradient. The tool allows you to color by column, by row, or by table. It also allows custom coloring curves (e.g. to make the best values stand out more), custom outlier rejection, and customizing which rows/columns are “lower is better” vs “higher is better”.
