Hi! I’m Gerry Chen and I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Robotics under Professor Frank Dellaert at Georgia Tech's College of Computing. I majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with Computer Science and Math minors at Duke University as an undergrad class of 2019. See my CV and Résumé below.
My career interests are in robotic perception paired with dynamics and control. I have a passion for autonomous machines (i.e. cars, UAVs, search and rescue, etc).
Outside of engineering, I love making music and playing pick-up soccer. While I'm no pro, I like to jam on piano, violin, and guitar - playing whatever comes to mind at the moment and acquiring new skills as necessary.
